Holton, a first team All-American pitcher, and Lueck, FSU’s leading hitter each of the past two seasons, help make up the Collegiate National Team roster of 17 pitchers and 14 position players that began play Tuesday in a series against Chinese Taipei. This is the second consecutive season that Florida State has been represented on the Collegiate National Team. Taylor Walls and Cole Sands both played for the team in 2016.
The final 24-man roster will be announced on July 2 prior to the USA vs. Cuba International Friendship Series from July 3-7. Team USA will complete its summer tour against Japan July 12-17.
All games will be streamed live on USABaseball.com.
Eleven other returning Seminoles will also be playing this summer, including four in the historic Cape Cod league.
