Florida State’s men’s and women’s golf programs have a rich history and an
even brighter future. This is your chance to play with Seminole greats of
the past and help to insure FSU golf is even more successful in the futrue.
Your participation will help build one of the finest golf facilities in the
country. Jeff Sluman, Kenny Knox, Downing Gray, Nolan Henke, and Barb
Bunkowsky are just a few of the many FSU golf legends that will join Bobby
Bowden, Dave Hart and other Florida State dignitaries.
Florida State University recently became one of just eight schools in the
country to offer the prestigious Professional Golf Management Curriculum.
This program was recently sanctioned by the PGA of America and provides an
opportunity to build a state of the art golf facility for both of our
Seminole golf teams. The momentum of this affiliation with the PGA,
coupled with a major fund raising effort that will kick off at this event,
will fulfill the dreams of past, present and future Seminole golfers.
Proceeds from the Seminole Invitational Pro-Am at Grand Cypress will assist
in the purchase of a computer system. This system will geature the latest
technology in swing, distance and trajectory analysis in the Florida State
A donation of $1,500 per player or $6,000 per team is required to play in
