  • Jerome Groover, Head Coach of the Championship Girls’ track team
    at Palm
    Beach Lakes High School

  • Scott Gowen, Former Head Coach of State Champion Port St. Joe
    High School
    and the current Head Track Coach at Chiles High School in
    Tallahassee, FL

Key Areas Covered at Camps:

  • Speed Enhancement/Hurdles:
    Speed enhancement is a vital part to success in every
    sport. Athletes will
    learn proper sprint mechanics with the help of video
    analysis and hands on instruction. Athletes will
    learn how to develop maintain and improve speed for
    utilization in every sport. Florida State University Coach Meaders and
    Palm Beach Lakes Coach Groover will work individually with
    each athlete.

  • Jumps:
    Coach Dennis Nobles has more than 14 years experience in
    the jumping
    events. Coach Nobles has coached All-American and
    world-class athletes including current world record
    holder in the triple jump Jonathan Edwards.
    Coach Nobles will work to insure that athletes will have a
    fun and
    educational experience.

  • Throws:
    Camp Director and Olympic Trials qualifier Coach Harlis
    Meaders will teach
    the technical elements of the throwing events. Athletes
    will learn not only
    how to throw, but how to train for the throwing events.

Camp Fees:

  • Day Campers — $215.00

  • Resident Campers — $2750.00
