Format of Meet: It is open to all competitors. This is a season opener meet and will be run very informally. Please try to limit changes during the meet, but we will try to accommodate all athletes and schools.
Facility: The Mike Long track surface is Rekortan as are the long jump, triple jump, pole vault runways, high jump (80′ approach) and javelin (110″ runway). NO spikes longer than 3/8″ may be used! The shot put, discus, and hammer circles are brushed concrete.
Marking take off points on approach areas and exchange zones: All take off points must be marked with TAPE ONLY. Any athlete who if found marking his or her approach area or exchange zone with chalk, paint or any other substance other than tape will immediately be disqualified from that competition by a meet official. Coaches are held responsible for informing their athletes and disqualified athletes will be referred back to their coaches for explanation as to why they were not informed of the regulation.
Entry Procedures: Please use attached entry forms. Make copies as necessary.
Entries are due Wednesday, February 28th.

Entry Fees: There is no entry fee for this meet
Check-in: Any scratches and additions must be made before 10:00 am on the day of the meet. Athletes must check-in at least 30 minutes prior to the start of their race at the clerking table near the track building. Field event athletes must check-in at their event area. Heat and flight sheets will be available at noon on the day of the meet.
Scoring: No team scores will be kept.
Awards: There are no awards
Officiating: The Florida State Track and Field Officials Association will be in charge of the meet. Video Timing will be the method of determining the official time and order of finish for all races. Field event judges will measure, record and post results in feet and inches on the performance indicator boards for spectator interest.
The meet will be conducted under NCAA rules. All athletes representing intercollegiate programs must be eligible according to respective NCAA rules.
Field Event Stating Heights: Starting heights will be at the discretion of the event official.
All races will be run as sections against time.
