TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (seminoles.com) –
Florida State, which is considered to be one the favorites to compete for its second consecutive ACC Championship, has an offer that Seminole fans can’t refuse by locking in their 2012-13 season tickets now with just a ten percent deposit.
Fans that place their deposits by Tuesday, April 30, will receive a commemorative ACC Championship game program and personalized ACC Championship game ticket. Fans can utilize a payment plan spreading the cost of the full season over several months.
The 2012-2013 home schedule features several premier match-ups including in-state rival Florida, an opponent to be determined in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge, two games in the Coaches vs. Cancer tournament and nine ACC games (one additional ACC home game).
The Seminoles return four of their top five scorers including Michael Snaer – the Most Valuable Player of Florida State’s ACC Tournament championship team. Snaer (a career high 14.0 ppg) and Ian Miller (10.3 ppg) give the Seminoles a pair of returning double digit scorers for the first time since the 2006-07 season. The Seminoles also return two of their top four rebounders (Terrance Shannon and Okaro White, 4.4 rpg each) and six players who have played on at least two NCAA Tournament teams with Snaer, Shannon and White all having played on three NCAA Tournament teams.
Florida State is the third winningest program in the ACC in the last six seasons, is one of only two teams in the ACC who have played in at least four consecutive NCAA Tournaments and one of only two teams in the ACC that has finished in the top four of the ACC standings with double digit ACC wins in each of the last four seasons. The Seminoles won 25 games and tied a school record with 12 ACC wins in winning the ACC championship in 2012.
