A Special Message From Florida State University Director of Athletics Dave Hart

Dear Seminoles fan,

Dear Seminole Basketball Fan:

Dave Hart

While we narrowly missed inclusion in this year’s NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament field, we do have an opportunity to return Home to host a second round NIT game against Iowa State on Tuesday night, March 23, at 7:00 p.m. The game will not be televised.

This is a welcomed chance to again salute Tim Pickett and our senior class and put some salve on the wounds of any lingering disappointment of just missing being a part of the NCAA Tournament.

Our fans played an integral role this year in the building of an exciting basketball program and true Home Court advantage. A good showing of continued crowd support would enhance our chances of hosting another NIT game if we beat Iowa State on Tuesday night. That notion certainly has Tim Pickett and our entire coaching staff and team excited.

I urge you to respond in the same manner you did throughout ACC home games this year. Our team battled through a terrific home court atmosphere at Wichita State in overcoming a 14-point deficit to advance in double overtime. They are ready to “come home”. Be there to help them advance further.

All the information you need to order tickets for Tuesday night is available on Seminoles.com, or by clicking here.

Again, I thank you for all you mean to Florida State Athletics.

Go Noles!

Dave Hart
