Advisor for: Men’s Basketball, Women’s Track & Field & Women’s Cross Country


Hillard Goldsmith III joined the Florida State Athletic Academic Support staff as an Academic Counselor in March of 2004 and oversees the academic progress of the Men’s Basketball and Women’s Track and Field Teams and Women’s Cross Country. Goldsmiths’ duties include monitoring academic eligibility, advisement and assisting in the recruitment of all prospective student-athletes. A former Seminole student-athlete, Goldsmith earned a Bachelor and Science and Master of Science in Criminology from FSU. Goldsmith is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Goldsmith served as Captain his last two seasons for the Men’s Track & Field team. Goldsmith, a native of Pensacola, FL, is a member of the National Association of Academic Advisors for Athletics (N4A) and serves as a staff representative to the Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC).
