TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Week 6 was a big one for former Florida State linebackers, as Lawrence Timmons, Vince Williams and Telvin Smith all had days for their respective teams.
Timmons led the Dolphins with eight tackles during their comeback win over Atlanta, while Williams had back-to-back sacks in Pittsburgh’s win at Kansas City. Smith, meanwhile, continued to be one of his Jacksonville’s best defensive performers with a team-high eight tackles, as well as a forced fumble.
The day didn’t belong solely to the linebackers, though, as Patrick Robinson and Xavier Rhodes each recorded interceptions ans part of wins for the Eagles and Vikings, respectively.

Philadelphia 28, Carolina 23
Eagles: LB Nigel Bradham started, made 10 tackles (one for loss), and defended two passes. CB Patrick Robinson started, had one interception, three tackles and a fumble recovery. DT Timmy Jernigan started, made one tackle and had one QB hurry. CB Ronald Darby (ankle) is on injured reserve.
Panthers: WR Kelvin Benjamin started and caught nine passes for 99 yards. K Graham Gano was 3 for 3 on field goals (from 39, 20 and 46 yards) and 2 for 2 on extra points.

Dolphins: LB Lawrence Timmons started and had a team-high eight tackles (one for loss) and defended a pass.
Falcons: RB Devonta Freeman started and carried nine times for 68 yards (long of 44). He added 11 yards on two catches.

Bears: LB Christian Jones started, had a team-high eight tackles and forced a fumble. NT Eddie Goldman started and made six tackles (one for loss).

Buccaneers: QB Jameis Winston was 5 of 10 for 61 yards before leaving the game with an apparent shoulder injury. CB Javien Elliott played but did not record any statistics. LS Garrison Sanborn handled long-snapping duties.

Rams: DB Lamarcus Joyner (hamstring) was inactive.
Jaguars: LB Telvin Smith started and led the team with eight tackles (two for loss), one sack and a forced fumble. CB Jalen Ramsey started and made three tackles. WR Rashad Greene (Achilles) is on injured reserve.
