ACC Releases 2014 Softball TV Schedule

Feb. 6, 2014

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – For those unable to come out to see the Seminoles in person, there will be many opportunities to see the No. 12/15 Florida State softball team in action on the ESPN family of networks this season as announced today by the Atlantic Coast Conference.

“It is great that Seminole fans will be able to watch us play throughout the season regardless of where they live,” said head coach Lonni Alameda. “Being able to play on television gives our school and our conference an opportunity to be seen by the rest of the country which definitely can help with recruiting and developing the ACC into one of the top conferences in the country.”

The Seminoles will broadcast mid-week matchups in Tallahassee against UCF on Feb. 19 and Florida on April 9. The entire weekend series in Chapel Hill against North Carolina on March 30 and 31 will be televised, with the game on March 31 being shown on ESPNU as part of “ACC Monday”.

Florida State will play three games that will be shown on ESPNU with eight additional games on ESPN3. All seven games of the 2014 ACC Softball Championship will be broadcast as well, with the championship game televised on ESPN2.
