Andrea Einspahr joined the FSU Athletic Academic Support staff in June 2008. She serves as a Learning Specialist and works with Men’s and Women’s Basketball and Olympic sports, seeking to help at-risk and learning disabled student-athletes build their skills and succeed in their college careers. In addition, Andrea coordinates the Academic Mentoring program, where experienced mentors assist student-athletes in skill development and facilitate with the transition into higher education of the freshman.
A native of Lorraine, Kansas, Andrea holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, with a minor in Special Education, from Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas. In 2007, she earned a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Prior to joining the AASS staff, Andrea and her husband, Eric, lived in Lincoln, Nebraska, where she was an Assistant Academic Counselor for UNL Husker Academics.
