Another Honor for Hunnicutt

March 7, 2011

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Seminoles.com) – Florida State senior guard Christian Hunnicutt has been named to the 2010-11 All-ACC Academic Women’s Basketball Team, league officials have announced.

A Communication Sciences & Disorders major, Hunnicutt boasts the highest GPA on the FSU women’s basketball team. The announcement marks the fifth time in her career that the Jonesboro, Ga. has received an academic honor.

Hunnicutt has been previously named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll two times (2008 and 2010) and was an All-ACC Academic award winner last season. A few weeks ago, the 5-foot-10 guard was named one of three student-athletes at Florida State to receive a postgraduate scholarship from the ACC.
