Tallahassee, Fla.- Florida State ended the Seminole Invitational in style as sophomore Jean-Yves Aubone and freshman Clint Bowles defeated a team from Miami to win the doubles championship Sunday afternoon.

Aubone (Miami, Fla.) and Bowles (Tampa, Fla.) beat the Hurricane’s David Rosenfeld and Vivek Subramanian 9-7 in the finals. The match was knotted at seven when the Seminole duo broke the Canes serve. Aubone then served out the match to give FSU the victory at their home tournament. The victory marks Bowles’s first collegiate tournament victory.

In the “C” draw final Florida State sophomore Michael O’Shea (Boca Raton, Fla.) fell to UAB’s Tim Petrich 7-6, 6-3.
