Jan. 28, 2000

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The fifth-ranked Seminole baseball team will
have to wait a day before beginning its 2000 season. The Seminoles, who
advanced to last year’s final game of the College World Series, were
scheduled to open their season Friday at 3:30 p.m. but rain forced the game
to be postponed. The game with the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers will be
made up as part of a doubleheader on Saturday, January 29th. The two teams
will play two nine-inning games starting at noon at Dick Howser Stadium.
