TALLAHASSEE, Fla (seminoles.com) — The Seminole men’s basketball Garnet and Gold scrimmage planned for Oct. 14 at the Donald L. Tucker Center has been cancelled due to Hurricane Michael and its potential impact on the city of Tallahassee.
“The safety of our student-athletes, staff and supporters in the Tallahassee area is paramount,” said Head Coach Leonard Hamilton. “We want to ensure the availability of the Tucker Center for any university or community needs associated with the storm, and given the current uncertainty this decision seems to be the best for all.”
Fans will have an opportunity to preview the men’s team prior to its Nov. 6 season opener versus the University of Florida in exhibition games versus the University of West Florida on Oct. 26 at 6:00 p.m. and again against Valdosta State University on Nov. 1 at 7:00 p.m. Both exhibition games will take place at the Donald L. Tucker Center.
