The annual Florida State men’s basketball preview show premiers Nov. 9 at 6:30 p.m. on Sun Sports Television and on Nov. 10 at 6:30 p.m. on FoxSports Florida. The 30 minute show featuring Seminole head coach Leonard Hamilton and each member of this year’s team is scheduled to run 11 times in the next weeks.

The annual preview show is a prelude to one of the most anticipated seasons of the Florida State basketball team in recent years. Coming off of its second consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance the Seminoles return three starters and 11 letter winners to a team that finished with a 22-10 overall record and a 10-6 mark in the ACC. It marked the second time in school history and first time since the 1992 and 1993 seasons that the Seminoles had won at least 10 ACC games in consecutive seasons. With its 22 victories in 2009-10 the Seminoles have won 47 games in the last two years to tie the school record for wins in a two-year period.

Leading the Seminoles is Chris Singleton, who earned All-ACC Third Team honors and was named the ACC Defensive Player of the Year in 2010. He is also one of the top 50 candidates for the 2011 John R. Wooden Award which is annually presented to the top player in all of college basketball. Singleton averaged a career-high 10.2 points, a career-high 7.0 rebounds to go along with 71 steals and 48 blocked shots last season as a sophomore.

The premier of the annual preview show comes only three days before Florida State’s season opener against North Florida at the Donald L. Tucker Center in Tallahassee. The Seminoles play host to the Ospreys on Nov. 12 at 8:30 p.m.
