Both programs will look to build off the success from the past several seasons. The men finished ranked 19th in the ESPN/USA Today poll, in the top four of the ACC standings for the school record third consecutive season and advanced to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament with wins over nationally ranked Texas A&M and Notre Dame. The women finished just one win shy of another ACC regular season championship, but advanced to their seventh straight NCAA tournament.
