The Florida State University Women’s athletics teams are once again joining forces with Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare for the fifth annual “Paint it Pink” campaign. During the year, each of the women’s sports teams will show their support during their designated “pink” game. It is through efforts like the ‘Paint It Pink’ campaign that we move closer to a cure and we couldn’t do it without the Tallahassee community and our Seminole family.
The administration and staff of the athletic department, along with our student-athletes, are pleased to be able to help raise awareness of such a worthy cause. Since its inception in 2009, the campaign has raised over $43,000. Teams are encouraging fans to remember that as great as sports can be, they’re only games. Fans are asked to help aid the fight against cancer by contributing in any way they can.
