Black Out Thursday Night Versus UNC

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – From Garnet and Gold to Black? The Florida State soccer team is calling for a `Black Out’ this Thursday, October 22 at the Seminole Soccer Complex as the fifth-ranked Seminoles welcome No. 3 North Carolina to Tallahassee. Game time for Thursday night’s match is set for 6:00 p.m. and will air live on FS Florida.

For the first time in school history, the Seminole soccer team will don black jerseys at home. FSU is undefeated at home in 2009 with a record of 8-0-0 and are currently riding a school record 13-game home winning streak.

The first 1,000 fans to arrive at the Seminole Soccer Complex on Thursday will receive a `Black Out’ t-shirt courtesy of Hungry Howie’s. All FSU students in attendance on Thursday night will receive free pizza compliments of Hungry Howie’s, while the first 150 kids will receive a Seminole water bottle.

Heading into Thursday’s match, North Carolina and Florida State sit one, two in the ACC standings with 15 and 13 points, respectively.
