TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – It’s been a great week for Seminole softball. Last Saturday we all served our community, some of us helped with the Tallahassee Fitness Festival, which focused on well fitness and the rest of us helped with the FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) softball camp hosted by two-time Olympic gold medalist Dot Richardson. She is an amazing person and was an outstanding softball player. A few of us had the pleasure of seeing her gold medals, probably something many of us will never forget.
The president of the university, Eric Barron and his wife Molly Barron, invited us to their lovely home for dinner. The President’s House was gorgeous and filled with detailed fixtures, delicate china and shined silver. Majority of the things in the house were donated and kept from over the years. It was an amazing time as we all enjoyed seeing how the president of the university and his wife live. We are forever grateful for their invitation allowing us to peek into another part of Florida State University’s history and tradition.
This past Tuesday (Jan. 28) was scrimmage day and while we were playing each other it was obvious that we can’t wait to see someone in different uniforms. 8 MORE DAYS!!! We are ready … are you?
