Dec. 3, 2010
Florida State will ring in the New Year while reacquainting itself with an old rival in the 43rd edition of the Chick-fil-A Bowl on Dec. 31 in Atlanta’s Georgia Dome. The 23rd-ranked Seminoles (9-4) will meet No. 19 South Carolina (9-4) in the bowl’s first match-up between ACC and SEC runner-ups.
The priority order period for Florida State’s bowl tickets will begin Sunday, December 5th at 5 p.m. online by clicking here or over the phone at 1-888-FSU-NOLE beginning at 8:30am Monday, December 6th. Members of Seminole Boosters, current football season ticket holders and the general public will all be able to place their ticket orders at that time. The priority order period will run through Thursday, December 9th at 5pm.
Florida State University is very proud to be a participant in the 2010 Chick-fil-A Bowl on Dec. 31, 2010 in Atlanta’s Georgia Dome. Florida State and South Carolina will each receive 18,000 tickets to the game all of which are priced at $80 each.
While Florida State’s tickets will be offered to all Seminole fans, priority will be given to Seminole Booster members — whose contributions help fund athletic scholarships — and to football season ticket holders until Thursday, December 9th at 5pm. After the Priority Order Period, orders will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Seminole fans are encouraged to request as many tickets as they wish but if the demand should exceed FSU’s allocation, the Seminole ticket office will use the Ticket Priority Policy to determine quantity and location of seats.
Requests will be filled in the following priority order:
Lower Level Sideline Seats
A very thin allocation of lower level sideline seats were made available to each school, so advance limits have been set for these tickets which will be allocated based upon total priority points: Golden Chiefs may request up to 4 Lower Level Sideline seats. Platinum and Legacy Chiefs may request up to 8 Lower Level Sideline Seats. If a Golden Chief’s request for Lower Level Sideline seats is not fulfilled, that request will be filled with Lower Level Mezzanine seats unless instructed otherwise.
Mezzanine Level Lower Endzone Seats
FSU will receive approximately 3000 Mezzanine level seats in the endzone which include access to club amenities. The demand for these seats is likely to exceed supply, so they will be allocated based upon Seminole Booster donor level and points. Once all seats in the Mezzanine Level are filled, the ticket office will place remaining requests in the Lower Level Endzone unless instructed otherwise.
Lower Level Endzone and Upper Level
FSU will receive approximately 5400 Lower Level Endzone and 8400 Upper Level seats. Once all seats in the Lower Level Endzone are filled, the ticket office will place remaining requests in the Upper Level unless instructed otherwise.
