TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Recently, the Florida State men’s and women’s track and field and cross country teams spent time with the Boys and Girls Club of the Big Bend.
For the fifth year in a row, the student-athletes met with roughly 70 children and broke off into four groups for throwing, hurdling, sprinting and jumping activities.
After helping teach and show the children the ins and outs of what makes the Seminoles so good on the track, in and the field and in cross country, the team members took the time to autograph posters and spend quality time with the youngsters.
