TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Former Florida State All-America center Cierra Bravard will continue her hoops career in Spain this fall.

The 6-4 Sandusky, Ohio native recently signed a contract with Girona FC of the Spanish League’s first division. Girona FC placed third in the league last season.

Bravard captured honorable mention All-America honors in 2011 and was a three-time All-ACC selection. She wrapped up her Seminole career in 2011-12, ranking third in FSU history in games played (131), fourth in blocks (113), sixth in scoring (1,501) and ninth in rebounds (768).

Last season, she averaged 14.2 ppg and 6.4 rpg.

Bravard was on the training camp roster with the WNBA’s SilverStars in the spring, but did not make the squad’s final roster.
