TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – After posting a pair of shutouts in victories over Florida (1-0) and South Alabama (2-0), Brooke Bollinger was recognized by the ACC as the redshirt freshman goalkeeper was named the ACC Co-Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league on Tuesday.
Bollinger made a total of five saves through the two games as the Seminoles improved its record to 7-0-1 so far in 2018 and recorded its first unbeaten non-conference slate since 2013.
Bollinger now leads the NCAA with six shutouts and a 0.123 goals-against average as she continues to impress in her first season of collegiate soccer.
