HANAHAN, S.C. –

Burch shot a one-over par total of 145 in the final two rounds and finished only six strokes from earning the second top-10 individual finish of her Seminole career.

Tennessee carded a final round team score of 289 and held off second place Georgia en route the team championship as play in the 54-hole event concluded Monday. The Lady Vols finished with a three round tournament-record total of 870, two strokes better than Georgia. Marci Turner of Tennessee won individual medalist honors with a three round record-tying total of 212.

Burch (Wildwood, Mo.) led the Seminoles with a nine-over par total of 225 for the three-round event.
