Hultquist is in his eighth season with the Seminoles who reached the Elite 8 of the NCAA this past year and were finalists at the ACC Championships. Dwayne coached Matt Cloer, who went on to become the 2003/2004 ACC Player of the Year and FSU’s first singles All-American in 2005. In 2002 & 2003, he coached the ACC Indoor Doubles Champions. Hultquist began his tennis career at Penn State where he was team captain and NCAA qualifier. He gained excellent experiences serving eight seasons as the assistant coach for the University of Texas who enjoyed top 10 finishes during this tenure. He assisted in coaching ten All-American players.

A four-year letter winner for the Seminoles from 1991-1994, Hyde went on to serve as an assistant coach with the University of Iowa, the University of Alabama, and the University of North Carolina. At UNC, she was part of the most successful women’s tennis season in the program’s history and instrumental in progressing a previously unranked Tar Heel team to a top 25 national ranking. Hyde is in her 3rd year as the Seminoles head coach. In Hyde’s first year at FSU she led the Women’s Tennis Team to the NCAA Tournament. She also coached Mihaela Moldovan, who received All-American status in the NCAA tournament.

Crowell began his career at the University of Texas where he was a two-time All-American. Nick won the third leg of the college Grand Slam when he won the ITA National Indoor Doubles Championship in 2000. Nick competed on the pro tour and reached a career high in doubles of #370 in the world in 2003. Nick is in his fourth season wth the Seminoles. He helped the Men’s team reach the Elite 8 in 2005.

Oliver Foreman is entering his second season as the assistant women’s tennis coach at Florida State University. Foreman was a Middle Tennessee University graduate and reached as high as #5 nationally in doubles. Foreman most recently worked as a volunteer assistant coach at the Ali Hamadeh’s Tennis Academy in 2004. During his brief stint there he coached four juniors to the Super Nationals Tournament and also aided in generating a prestigious junior development program with over 40 juniors. Foreman played on the Professional Tennis Tour from 2002-2004 where he was the Irish National Open singles and doubles champion in 2002.

Camp Highlights

  • Held at FSU’s nationally renowned Scott Speicher Tennis Center.
  • Conducted by a select group of coaches, experienced in working with top junior and collegiate players.
  • Limited enrollment for smaller groups and better instruction.
  • Team matches similar to college tennis format.
  • Exhibition of camp counselors.

    Room and Board
    Overnight campers will be housed in the Southgate Campus Centre, a dormitory within walking distance of the Scott Speicher Tennis Center. Each room will hold four campers and will have a private bathroom and shower. Southgate also features a game room, workout facilities and a large TV room. Campers will eat all of their meals in the Southgate dining hall.

    Night-time activities include bowling, swimming, skits, games and movie night.


  • Resident Campers – 3:00pm – 4:30pm on Sunday, June 3rd or June 10th at SouthGate dorms.
  • Day Campers: 4:30 – 5:30pm on Sunday, June 3rd or June 10th at Scott Speicher Tennis Center.
  • Parents Meeting at 5:30pm

    Day Camp: $325/player per session
    Overnight: $495/player per session
