TALLAHASSEE, Fla. –
Champion Chevrolet and University Chevrolet in Tallahassee have purchased $5,000 worth of student tickets for Friday night’s Seminole men’s basketball game against Butler and those tickets are now being passed out to FSU students at the FSU Ticket Office located a Gate B at Doak Campbell Stadium.
The Seminoles will play host to Butler in a first round NIT game Friday beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets are available and are priced at $12 for adults and $4 for FSU students and those under 18 wishing to attend the game. The student tickets purchased by Champion Chevrolet and University Chevrolet will be given to students free until the supply is exhausted.
“We are very thankful to Larry Strom, Jim Hewitt and Tim Revell of Champion Chevrolet and University Chevrolet who will help us reach one of our goals of playing in front of as many Seminole fans as we can against Butler,” said Head Coach Leonard Hamilton. “They are great friends of the program who continue to help us as we grow and become a program of significance not only in the ACC but nationally.”
Tickets can be purchased for the Seminoles’ game against Butler by logging onto seminoles.com or in person at the FSU Ticket Office in Doak Campbell Stadium. Should the Seminoles defeat Butler, they would host a second round NIT game against the winner of Wednesday night’s game between South Carolina and Western Kentucky.
