CHAPEL HILL, NC – For the third straight year junior Chelsie Lerew was awarded the ACC Most Valuable Diver award for her dominate performance in both the one and three-meter diving competitions. Lerew took care of business in the first day of competition at the ACC Championships in the one-meter dive posting a score of 290.65 and winning the event for the second time in three years. She then proceeded to claim her third consecutive conference title in the three-meter event after finishing with a score of 504.30. The Seminoles diving team of Lerew, Tiffany Manning, and Courtney McClow obtained the top three spots in the one-meter and three of the four spots in the three-meter diving events at this year’s ACC Championships.
