Chris Rhyce is entering his third year with the Florida State University athletic ticket office, where he assists in initiating and executing group sales, marketing, and promotional strategies for FSU athletics. Chris has served as the ticket coordinator for the 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 FSU Men’s basketball seasons as well as the first two rounds of the 2010 Women’s NCAA tennis tournament in Tallahassee. Chris has also assisted in ticket operations for the 2010 Men’s ACC basketball tournament in Greensboro, NC and the first two rounds of the 2010 Men’s NCAA basketball tournament in Buffalo, NY.

Prior to arriving at FSU, Chris spent the 2008 Major League Baseball season working in inside sales for the Tampa Bay Rays during the team’s first-ever World Series appearance. In this position, Chris was responsible for working in conjunction with the team’s premium sales team and ticket sales team to create and develop sales and marketing campaigns. Chris also completed a ten-month internship with the University of Central Florida Athletics Association, worked in baseball operations for the New York Yankees during the 2003 and 2006 Spring Training seasons, and interned with FSU’s athletic marketing office as an undergraduate student.

A native of Miami, Chris graduated with honors from Florida State University in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management.
