TALLAHASSEE, Fla. ( – For the second consecutive season, the Florida State Women’s Basketball team has a chance to host the NCAA First and Second Rounds. The program invites all fans, supporters and media to attend its NCAA Selection Show Watch Party scheduled for Monday, March 14, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. at the Donald L. Tucker Center.

While the NCAA Selection Show begins at 7 p.m. on ESPN, interested attendees can enter the Tucker Center at 6:30 p.m. and be entertained by a host of activities. The event is once again free and open to the public, and there will be free popcorn as well as other giveaways for those in attendance. FSU head coach Sue Semrau and her student-athletes will also address the audience, and there will be appearances from Seminole Sound and FSU Cheer.

The Seminoles enter the NCAA postseason with a 23-7 overall record and finished 13-3 in ACC play, their second-most conference wins in program history. Florida State is looking to host the NCAA First and Second Rounds for the second consecutive year.

Where do I enter?
Fans interested in attending the NCAA Selection Show Watch Party can enter through the Northwest entrance of the Donald L. Tucker Center. Balloons will be outside to indicate the entrance area.

Where do I sit?
Fans can sit in section 119 of the Donald L. Tucker Center.

Will my neck hurt from trying to watch the entire NCAA Selection Show on the center-hung scoreboard?
Absolutely not! The scoreboard will be lowered to a much more comfortable viewing level.

Will there be meet-and-greet opportunities with the coaches and student-athletes?
Of course! Coaches and student-athletes will be available to interact before the NCAA Selection Show. There will also be a post-show autograph session, so make sure you stick around.

This is awfully close to dinner time. What happens if I get hungry?
Each fan will be given one free popcorn, but there will also be a concession stand behind section 119 that will be open as well.

How can I purchase tickets to the NCAA First and Second Rounds if Florida State is a host?
For those who have already pre-ordered, you will be able to pick up your tickets right at the Donald L. Tucker Center Box Office. Tickets will be available for purchase to the general public on within one hour following the Selection Show, or fans can visit the Box Office for tickets if we have been announced to host. FSU Ticket Office staff members will be on hand to answer your questions.

What other fun things will go on at this event?
We’ve got a lot of things planned that focus on fan interactivity. We will have not one, but TWO emcees to get the crowd excited and make this event tons of fun. We’ve also got a few fun activities planned during the commercial breaks, but you’ll have to be in attendance to find out!
