“Dancin’ to March” With The Women’s Basketball team

7 Reasons to go “Dancin’ to March” with the 

Women’s Basketball team

1. Affordable Family Fun

Season tickets are as low as $15 for seniors and youth and only $30 for adults for the entire season.  The Noles have seen their rankings climb up the charts the last couple of years and the attendance has gone with it.  Come “Dancin’ to March” this season as Coach Sue is looking for some Dance partners.

2. March Madness comes to Tallahassee 

Florida State will host the hosts the 1st and 2nd rounds of the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament.  Some of the country’s best teams will come calling this March 20-23, 2010 at the Donald L. Tucker Center.  The Noles will look to make the tournament and play in front of their home fans.    

3. Reigning ACC Coach of the Year Sue Semrau

Coach Sue begins her 13th season on the bench as the Head Coach of the Seminoles.  She brings in a loaded roster including four starters and key reserves.  Coach Sue will look to make the NCAA Tournament for the 6th consecutive year.  Not only has Semrau turned this program around, but now they are competing for the ACC crown year in and year out.  

4. 4 returning starters from last season

The Noles return four starters from last year’s Co-ACC regular season champion team including Cierra Bravard, Alysha Harvin, Courtney Ward and fresh off her Gold medal with Team USA Jacinta Monroe.  The bench returns key contributors including Angel Gray, Christian Hunnicutt and Kayli Keough.  The Noles also welcome back freshmen Chasity Clayton and Alexa DeLuzio from redshirting and newcomers Leonor Rodriguez and Chelsea Davis.  

5. Schedule loaded with NCAA Tournament teams

Florida State welcomes in six teams who made the NCAA Tournament last year including the defending National Champions Connecticut to the Tucker Center on December 28th.  Auburn, Missouri, Virginia, Temple, Western Carolina also visit Tallahassee.

6. Ticket Angel

In partnership with the local school system and youth organizations, fans can donate season tickets for only $15 which will be given to local Boys and Girls Clubs, Head Start Centers, etc.  Fans can fill out this form *Ticket Angel form) and send it back.

7. Free Stuff, Giveaways, Special Promotions

Games are fun for the whole family.  We want the stands jam packed to watch a fun style of basketball.  Games feature fun videos, great promotions, and t-shirts galore.  It’s something all Seminole fans should come see.
