Trentavis Friday and Kendal Williams stormed the field in the 200-meter finals, finishing 1-2 to clinch spots on USA team at the IAAF World Junior Championships in two weeks.

Track – 7/5/2014

Kendal Williams punched his ticket to the IAAF World Junior Championships with a silver medal finish in the 100 at the US Junior Saturday. Trentavis Friday suffered a false start in the final after running a high school record 10.00 in the prelims.

Repping FSU And Red, White & Blue!

Track – 7/4/2014

FSU freshman Michael Cherry is back in Eugene, Ore., this time healthy as the 400-meter favorite at the USATF Junior Championships. He will be joined by Sydnee Over and newcomers Trentavis Friday, Kendal Williams and Zyaire Clemes.

Distinquished Dozen!

Track – 7/2/2014

The Florida State men’s and women’s track & field teams produced 12 All-ACC Academic selections. That marked the third-highest total in the 15-team conference, where the ‘Noles swept the team titles this spring.

National Athlete of the Year!


Track – Trentavis Friday was surprised with the Gatorade National Boys Track and Field Athlete of the Year Award during a ceremony at FSU on Monday. The incoming freshman ranks No. 1 among high school sprinters in the 100 and 200.
