Day Two of GT Invite

ATLANTA, GA.- The Florida State men’s tennis team entered Saturday at the Georgia Tech Invitational looking to build on two wins on Friday. Each of the three Seminoles would split their matches on the day. Senior Jose Gracia defeated Andrew Schafer of South Carolina 7-5, 6-7, 6-1. Gracia fell to Florida’s Joseph Guillin 6-3, 6-4 in his second match of the day.

After posting a win on Friday, freshman Alex Knaff fell to Georgia Tech’s Chris Yun 5-7, 3-6. He came back to defeat Georgia Tech’s Cole Fiegel 6-2, 6-2.

Fellow freshman Rana Roop Singh Bhullar was bested by Tennessee’s Scott Jones 3-6, 5-7. He would finish the day strong with a win over Florida’s David Sarkissov 6-3, 6-1.

The freshman pair fell to Georgia’s Nathan Ponwith and Emil Reinberg 8-2 in doubles play earlier Saturday morning.
