TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — NC State is making modifications and additions to Carter-Finley Stadium and resulting space constraints will preclude Sunshine Network’s production and tape delayed telecast of the Florida State vs. NC State this Saturday.
As the exclusive Florida cable television home of FSU athletics, Sunshine Network produces its own television coverage of FSU regular season football games and airs the telecasts during “Prime Time ‘Noles” on Sunday evenings and/or Monday afternoons.
Sunshine Network Vice President and General Manager Cathy Weeden said, “We are disappointed, but understand that this is unavoidable. We invite viewers to tune in for our next FSU football presentation featuring Florida at Florida State as well as this Sunday’s regular season FSU men’s basketball home opener versus Savannah State, live at 1:00pm (ET).
“Naturally, we are also disappointed that our fans and Sunshine viewers will not be able to watch ‘Prime Time ‘Noles’ on Sunday evening, which has become such a tradition,” said FSU spokesman Rob Wilson.
