Divers Ready for Tough Test

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.  –  The Florida State diving team is set to take on five SEC teams at the Auburn Diving Invite, which runs from Dec. 17-19 at the James E Martin Aquatic Center.

As the lone ACC squad, the Seminoles will take on Auburn, Alabama, LSU, South Carolina and Tennessee this weekend. The meet will be the third invitational for the divers this season.

“Our team had a busy past couple of weekends but they’ve been working hard and improving,” FSU head diving coach John Proctor said. “Our Zone meet in March is at Auburn and the teams competing at this event are some of the toughest in our zone, so we’re looking for this meet to prepare us for that.”

Prelims will start at 11 a.m. on Saturday with women’s 3-meter and men’s 1-meter prelims. The top 16 in each event will advance to finals.

Sunday’s events entail women’s 1-meter and men’s 3-meter and Monday will feature men’s and women’s platform.

Live results will be available on divemeets.com. For more information, visit Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
