Tallahassee, Fla. – The 2007 AT&T Outdoor Track and Field Championships and the Finish Line USA Junior Outdoor Track and Field Championships came to a close in a cold, rainy Indianapolis, Indiana on Sunday. Walter Dix is the only athlete from Florida State to earn a spot on the US World Championship team after finishing third in the 100 meters on Friday, June 22.

Dix’s time of 10.09 was just behind Tyson Gay who broke the meet record with his winning clock of 9.84 and Trindon Holliday of LSU’s second-place time of 10.07. All three qualified for the 2007 US World Championship team which will compete in Osaka, Japan August 24 through September 2.

Competing at the Jamaican Championships Sunday are two Seminoles, Ricardo Chambers and Tywayne Buchanan.
