Djuric Named ACC Volleyball Player Of The Week

Tallahassee, Fla. – Seminole outside hitter Mira Djuric (Belgrade, Serbia) was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Volleyball Player of the Week for September 17. The junior played a big part in Florida State’s win against in-state conference rival Miami on September 14.

Djuric helped lead the Seminoles to a 3-0 sweep over the Hurricanes, posting a .391 hitting percentage with 13 kills and 18 points. The six-foot-two physical therapy major also leads the team in total kills (110), kills per game (3.44), service aces (25) and total points (146.5, 4.56 per game) after nine games this season. The 0.78 service aces per game average ranks Djuric third in the ACC.
