Duke at FSU Football Game Will Kickoff At Noon

Oct. 27, 2004

Orlando, Fla. –
Sunshine Network and Florida State University today announced that the Duke @ Florida State college football game on Saturday, November 6 (12:00pm) will be made available live via pay-per-view (PPV) to viewers of participating cable systems, satellite systems and commercial establishments throughout Florida.

The live PPV airing will be in addition to Sunshine Network’s taped presentations of the game airing statewide on the regional network to more than 6.1 million homes on Sunday, November 7, at 7:30 p.m. during “Prime Time `Noles,” and Monday, November 8, at 12:00 p.m. Sunshine Network’s FSU announcers Paul Kennedy (play-by-play), Keith Jones (analyst) and Tom Block (sideline) call the action live from Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee.

Immediately following the PPV presentation of the game, fans can switch to Sunshine Network for complete live post-game coverage during the network’s SEMINOLES POSTGAME PRESENTED BY CHEVRON. Live reports from Tallahassee will also air during Sunshine’s Saturday morning LINE-X COLLEGE KICKOFF (9:30am).

Per Atlantic Coast Conference television contracts, when an ACC team does not have its game selected by ABC, ESPN or Jefferson-Pilot, it is permitted to televise that game live only on pay-per-view. Therefore, Sunshine Network cannot air these games live on the network, but can make them available to cable systems and satellite distributors to deliver via pay-per-view.

Cable systems electing to offer the game on pay-per-view will designate a channel location, separate from Sunshine Network’s channel, for the pay-per-view presentation. Interested viewers should call their local cable company or satellite provider for ordering instructions.

NOTE: ATTN: Newspaper & Website Listings — Please DO NOT list this game as airing live on
Sunshine Network or “SUN PPV.” It should be listed simply as “PPV” with the taped replay airing on Sunshine Sun., 11/7, at 7:30pm and Mon., 11/8, at 12:00 p.m.
