Eleven Women’s Hoops Games To Be Broadcast On Radio

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — WNLS Sportsradio 1270 AM will carry 11
Florida State women’s basketball regular-season games for the 1999-2000
season, beginning with the home opener vs. Tulsa on Friday, Nov. 19th at
7 p.m.
Newcomer Todd Van Dyke will provide the play-by-play for Florida
State while former Seminole Liberty Taylor will serve as color analyst
for the second straight season.


Van Dyke is a native of Rochelle, Ill., but has lived in
Tallahassee for the past five years. He is a marketing assistant in the
Florida State Athletics Promotions Office.
Taylor, who hails from New Orleans, La., lettered for Florida
State from 1991-95. This summer, she earned a master’s degree from FSU
in Communications and is currently working at the Center for
Professional Development on campus.


Aside from the Tallahassee area, the broadcasts can be heard via
