Erin Cash joined the Florida State Sports Medicine staff in July of 2009 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer. Her primary responsibility is serving as the training room supervisor.
Cash earned her master’s degree from Virginia Tech University in 2007 in health promotion before earning her PhD in curriculum and instruction in 2009. She served as an athletic trainer for the women’s lacrosse, football and men’s & women’s swimming and diving teams while at Virginia Tech. Cash also earned the William E. McCubbin Award in 2009. During her time at Virginia Tech Cash also assisted with several summer camps.
Prior to arriving at Virginia Tech Cash earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida in athletic training in 2006, while garnering UCF’s Outstanding Student Award in Athletic Training in 2006. While at UCF she served as a student athletic trainer working with the women’s basketball and women’s golf teams.
Cash has been a certified member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association since 2006. She is currently a member of the Mid-Atlantic Athletic Trainers’ Association and the Virginia Athletic Trainers’ Association, while previously being a member of the Southeastern Athletic Trainers’ Association and the Athletic Trainers Association of Florida.
