1.  What time is the game?

  • The game kicks off at 7:00 p.m. EST.  
2.  What is the weather forecast?
  • Temperatures will be in the upper 50’s at kickoff.  There will be winds out of the south east at 7 miles per hour.  Looking for a new Seminole sweatshirt or jacket?  You can find a huge selection by clicking here.  
3.  Is the game televised?
  • The game will be nationally televised on ESPN2.
4.  Can I listen to the game on the radio?
  • You can follow “The Voice of the Seminoles” Gene Deckerhoff, along with William Floyd and Tom Block on any of our Seminole IMG Sports Network affiliates.  For a complete list of affiliates click here.
5.  Is the game broadcast on satellite radio?
  • The game will be broadcast on Sirius 85 and XM channel 85.
6.  How do I follow the Seminoles online?
  • Seminoles.com should be your home for Florida State athletics online.  You can listen to the game in Seminoles.com/AllAccess, interact with our live game chat and analysis by clicking here, get live stats through Gametracker, watch the post-game press conference free here.  You will also want to check back after the game as Seminoles.com will have highlights featuring the call of Gene Deckerhoff and William Floyd.  You can also watch the re-broadcast of the game shortly after conclusion.  
7.  Where can I park?
  • Public parking lots are very limited around the Stadium.  All lots that are not reserved are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.  As always, parking on the grass and sidewalk is NOT permitted and violators are at risk of being towed. Utilizing the game day shuttles, could help save time and avoid searching for a parking space.
8.  Is Park & Ride Available?
  • Regional Transit System (RTS) is back and will provide local park & ride service from the following locations:
    • The Oaks Mall south parking lot (behind Macy’s)
    • The Hilton Hotel & Conference Center
    • Hail Plantation Village Center
    • Tioga Town Center
    • SW Downtown Parking Garage
  • Service begins three hours before kickoff and the last bus departs 10 minutes prior to kickoff.  Return busses start at the 4th quarter and run throughout the first hour after the game ends.  All locations are ADA accessible.  Contact RTS at (352) 334-2600 or go-rts.com for more information.
9.  Is there RV parking available?
  • All RV lots open at 6:00 PM on the Friday before home football games (and 6:00 PM on Thursday of Homecoming week).  All vehicles must be removed Sunday by 1 PM.  For non-Gator Boosters RV parking questions, please call UF Parking and Transportation at (352) 392-8048.  All RV’s must use an exhaust fan to project all fumes upward and away from other parking lot users.
10.   Is there a policy on tailgating at Florida?
  • You may tailgate within your spot (in front or behind your vehicle) or in any open grass area.  Please take special care not to block the road and/or walkways.
    • Music must be confined to your tailgate area
    • Tents may not be used within a parking spot
    • Golf carts, mopeds and scooters will not be allowed in parking lots and surrounding streets on gameday.
  • The following items must be approved by UAA staff prior to game day:
    • Large industrial-sized cookers
    • Portable generators
    • Company/Business signage
    • Portable toliets
11.  Is the game sold out?
  • Yes the game is sold out.
12.  What gate should I enter?
  • All gates are open.  Students must enter through gates 9,12-15.
13.  Am I allowed to re-enter the stadium after I have left?
  • Fans are not permitted to leave and re-enter Ben Hill Griffin Stadium once their ticket has been scanned.  Should a medical emergency arise requiring you to leave the stadium, you must report to the East or West first aid station to receive an emergency medical pass to re-enter the stadium.  In the event of severe weather delaying the game, fans will be allowed to exit the seating areas to seek shelter inside the concourse, on the plaza, and outside the stadium. Fans will be readmitted at the restart of the game with their ticket stubs.
14. Where is the Florida will-call ticket office located?
  • Visiting will call is located at Gate 17, lowerl level.
15.  When does Ben Hill Griffin Stadium open?
  • The stadium opens 90 minutes prior to kickoff.  
16.  What items are restricted at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium?
  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Artificial noisemakers
  • Bags larger than 1’x1’x1′
  • Balloons
  • Balls & Frisbees
  • Cameras with a lens greater than 4″
  • Car seats
  • Containers
  • Ice Chests/Coolers
  • Laptop computers
  • Laser pointers
  • Metal or hard plastic frame chairs or folding chairs
  • Outside food or drink
  • Signs on poles
  • Shoes with wheels (wheelies)
  • Strollers (Umbrella strollers are permitted)
  • Tripods

  • Additional items may be prohibited at the discretion of the law enforcement officials as dictated by increased threat conditions.
17.  Are there ATM’s available at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium?
  • SunTrust ATM’s are located on in the main concourse adjacent to Gates 8 and 18.  Additional ATM’s are located in the main concourse adjacent to Gates 2, 7, 13 and 15, and top level of the North End Zone (Sunshine Seats) and the top level of the South End Zone.
18.  Who do I contact if a problem arises inside the stadium?
  • The University of Florida will continue the game day text-message communication system at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.  The text messaging system allows fans to communicate directly with the stadium’s command post if assistance is needed in dealing with any special needs inside the stadium.  Should fans need assistance while inside the stadium, they will be able to contact event management staff by sending in a text message from your phone.  Simply text “GATORS” <space> the Issue and Location of the incident to 69050.  Please note than standard SMS rates apply.
19.  Where do I report Lost and Found?
  • Lost and found articles can be reported to or turned in to any Gator Guest Service Booth: located at Gates 2, 7 and 16.  For parents or family looking for a lost person, please meet your party at the Switchboard located between Gates 1 and 2 (next to the main ticket office).  If necessary, an announcement will be made to page the missing person.
20.  Where are First Aid Stations located?
  • There are seven (7) locations inside the Stadium for medical treatment:
    • South End Zone – 2nd level concourse behind Section 53
    • North End Zone – Centrally located on each level
    • East Stands – Lower concourse between Gates 13 and 14
    • West Stands – Lower concourse inside Gate 2
    • Skyboxes – South end of Evans Champions Club (5th floor)
