TALLAHASSEE, Fla. –
The first Leonard Hamilton men’s basketball luncheon sponsored by The Roundball Club is Thursday, November 18 at 11:30 at the University Center Club on the Florida State University campus. The luncheon includes a buffet lunch, an exciting highlight film and a question and answer session with Hamilton on the eve of the Seminoles’ 2004-05 season opener in the Civic Center against Texas Southern. The Seminoles play the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Friday night with tickets available for it and each of Florida State’s 16 home games this season.
The public is invited to attend and no advance reservations are necessary.
Florida State, which advanced to the second round of the NIT last season, enters the 2004-05 season as one of the nation’s most rapidly improving teams. The Seminoles have improved their victory total in two straight years, brought in two of the top recruiting classes in the country (including the No. 1 class in 2003) and defeated five nationally ranked teams since Head Coach Leonard Hamilton’s arrival in 2002. With four of its five leading scorers and three of its top five rebounders back in uniform, the Seminoles will look to continue their climb up the college basketball ladder this season.
Season tickets are available by clicking onto seminoles.com or calling the Seminole ticket office at (850) 644-1830.
