Florida State And ISP Sports Launch FSU Kids Club

Aug. 1, 2008

Florida State and ISP Sports are proud to announce the launch of the FSU Kids Club August 1st, 2008.  The Kids Club is open to all young Seminole fans currently in 8th grade or lower. Members receive an official t-shirt, membership card, newsletters, birthday card, free tickets to select home games, chances to participate in special clinics and once in a lifetime in-game activities!

The FSU Kid’s Club allows kids across the nation to experience many behind the scenes benefits including tours of facilities, exclusive autograph sessions, “Chalk Talk” with coaches and special skills clinics with the athletes.  Florida State is committed to strengthening the bond between its athletes, the community and our young fans through the creation of this kids club.

The FSU Kids Club is a fantastic opportunity to get the inside scoop on Seminole Athletics and to get up close and personal to our coaches and student athletes.  Our goal is to help our young fans truly experience the passion and tradition of this great university.”Randy Spetman, Athletics Director

Special Kids Club events will be held throughout the year where Kids Club members will receive free admission and have the chance to win the opportunity to deliver the game ball at a football game, become a ball kid for a Men’s and/or Women’s Basketball game or announce the Seminole batters during a baseball game, just to name a few!  Every year we will also have one big party for all of the Kids Club members to attend, hang out with student athletes, and have fun with their friends.

FSU and ISP are also announcing the launch of the new FSU Kids Club website, www.FSUkidsclub.com.  This is an online adventure for kids to learn about Florida State Athletics, upcoming events, and a special Members Only section with activities, games, newsletters, and promotions and contests just for members!  The website will be continuously updated with new information.  Members will receive quarterly newsletters in the mail, a monthly e-newsletter, and we will keep them in the Members Only section of the website so they can go back and read them anytime they want!

The FSU Kids Club will kickoff its membership drive at various events including the Southeast Sports Festival on Friday, August 1st, from 6-10 pm in Downtown Tallahassee, Football Fan Day, Sunday, August 10th, (doors open at noon) at the Donald L. Tucker Center, and the Alumni Association Kickoff luncheon on Friday, August 22nd at The Donald L. Tucker Center.

If you register a child at Fan Day, the child and one adult guest will gain early entry into the autograph session with the football team following the Seminole Strength and Skills competition. If you are unable to attend Football Fan Day, you can still register online anytime at www.FSUkidsclub.com.  You can pay using any major credit card, check, or even cash and the cost is only $25 per child!
