Jan. 30, 2009

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Florida State Athletics Department announced Friday the television schedule for the 2009 Seminole baseball season. A total of 12 games will be shown during the regular season on either Sun Sports or Fox Sports Florida. Fans will have the opportunity to see 10 games played on Mike Martin Field at Dick Howser Stadium as well as a pair of road contests. Seven of those games will feature conference opponents.

The TV conference slate will feature two games against Clemson and Virginia Tech and one game each against North Carolina, Wake Forest and Georgia Tech. Games against North Carolina and Georgia Tech have been tagged as the ACC Game of the Week on the Regional Sports Network. Fans are encouraged to check their local listing for broadcast information when the Seminoles square-off against the Tar Heels and Yellow Jackets.

The first television game of the season will air on FS Florida on Thursday, February 26 as the Seminoles welcome the Auburn Tigers to Tallahassee for the first of a two-game home and home series played over a four-day span. Other non-conference television games include High Point, Florida Gulf Coast, Florida and UNC Asheville.
