TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Atlantic Coast Conference in conjunction with Turner Broadcasting announced on Monday, January 29 that ACC Select will offer exclusive online coverage of ACC baseball in 2007. Florida State has released a list of 20 baseball games that will be featured on ACC Select including 12 home contests with Friday and Saturday’s games against Tennessee airing live on the new web-based service. The announcement marks the first time in ACC history that the conference will provide online video streams of the sport’s regular season games to a national fan base. Beginning on February 2, ACC Select will carry more than 115 ACC baseball games. ACC Select will deliver an unprecedented opportunity for fans to watch live and on-demand coverage of college baseball all season long.
Seminole baseball will make its debut on ACC Select this weekend as the first two games of the opening series against the Tennessee Volunteers will be broadcasted live on the web. Friday’s first pitch against the Vols is slated for 4:00 pm, while fans can catch Saturday’s game action starting at 1:00 pm. The Seminoles will feature a total of 12 home games on ACC Select in 2007 including conference games against Wake Forest, North Carolina and a pair of games against the Clemson Tigers. The April 18 meeting against intra-state rival Florida will also be aired on ACC Select. Fans can also follow Seminole baseball on the road in 2007 as eight games will be shown live and on-demand. Highlighting the road schedule is the complete three-game series against NC State, April 6-8, and Miami, April 27-29.
Games will be available live and on-demand exclusively at www.accselect.com on a per-event basis ($3.99 per event) or All Event Pass (available for a limited time at the introductory price of $5.99 per month). As a subscribed member to ACC Select, fans will be given monthly access to not only the scheduled Florida State home games, but also all featured away games for the Seminoles which have yet to be determined.

Launched in September 2006 through a partnership with Raycom Sports, Lincoln Financial Sports and the ACC, ACC Select provides fans with the best seat in the house for ACC Olympic-type sports that are not available through traditional broadcast and/or cable television distribution. The site includes a large portfolio of match-ups across 20 different sports for all 12 ACC schools, including men’s and women’s basketball, lacrosse, soccer, tennis, ice hockey and cross country. ACC Select utilizes the production and technical capabilities of Turner Broadcasting, which also provides streaming video platforms for many properties, including CNN.com, NASCAR.COM, PGA.com and PGATour.com.
