Florida State Boy’s Basketball Camps For Individual Players

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. –
The Florida State men’s basketball program and Leonard Hamilton are offering three individual skills basketball camps during the summer of 2003. The camps are open to boy’s ages 6-18 with the emphasis on developing basic fundamentals of shooting, dribbling, screening, passing and defense. The sessions are offered June 9th-June 12th and June 22nd-June 25th and July 20th-July 24th and will be held in Tully Gym and the Florida State Basketball Training Center on the FSU campus.


Both sessions in June are day camps are run from 8:30 a.m to 5:00 p.m. The cost of those two sessions are $180 per player. The third individual session in July is an overnight camp and costs $195 for a commuter and $300 for a residential camper.


Participants will receive individual instruction from Seminole coaches and players. Each camper will receive a camp basketball, t-shirt, picture and meals.


Resident campers will be provided meals on campus and should bring gym shoes, a one-week supply of gym shorts, t-shirts, athletic socks and underwear. Towels, a pillow, two twin-size sheets, a light blanket and toiletry items will also be necessary. Day campers must make their own arrangements for meals.


Campers will be covered by a group accident insurance policy provided by the university. Each player must have a physical prior to participating and documentation must be in the Florida State Basketball Office before the first day of camp. No physicals will be given by the university.
