Florida State Cross Country Earn All-Academic Honors

Tallahassee, FL – The NCAA Division I All-Academic Cross Country Team honorees were announced by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association on February 22.

To be honored as an All-Academic Team, teams must compete in an NCAA regional meet and have at least a cumulative team GPA of 3.0. In order to receive individual All-Academic individual honors, athletes are required to have a least a 3.25 cumulative GPA.

Florida State women’s cross country was one of 145 teams to receive the Division I Women’s All-Academic Cross Country team honors with a cumulative GPS of 3.260. Junior Debbie Huss (Wyomissing, PA) was the only Seminole on the women’s team to earn an individual honor for her outstanding performance in the classroom.

On the men’s side, seniors Tom Lancashire (Bolton, England) and Andrew Lemoncello (St. Andrew’s, Scotland) each garnered individual NCAA Division I Men’s All-Academic Cross Country honors.
