LOS ANGELES –
Florida State traveled to Los Angeles to face LMU for the first time in program history and came away with a 74-63 victory in front of 3,193 at Gersten Pavilion on Saturday night.

Chris Singleton led the Seminoles (9-2) with 15 points while Deividas Dulkys added11 points and seven rebounds. Drew Viney led all scorers with 16 points and nine rebounds for the Lions (6-6). Larry Davis added 13.

Florida State entered the game the best in the country in field goal percentage defense, allowing 32.5 percent per game. The Lions would finish the game shooting 48 percent, the highest allowed by FSU on the season.

LMU entered the game 11th in the nation in rebound margin at plus-10 and had not been outrebounded all season. FSU would out rebound the Lions FSU 37-28.

The Seminoles led by five at halftime, 32-27, but the Lions would cut the lead to one, 51-50, on a lay-up by Ayodeji Egbeyemi with 8:36 to play. FloridaState would answer with a 15-6 run, and would finally get a double-digit cushion on the Lions, 66-56, on Dulkys’ third three-pointer with 3:49 to play.
