Florida State, FAMU Softball Tangle Tonight At 6:00 PM

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Florida State Seminoles and Florida A&M Rattlers play their fourth and final contest of the season against each other tonight at JoAnne Graf Field (6:00 p.m.). The Tribe leads the series 2-1, including a 4-1 victory over the Rattlers Monday (April 18) night.

Junior left field Natasha Jacob looks to extend her season and team-long hit streak to eight games. She paces the squad with a .321 batting average. Monday evening freshman pitcher Tiffany McDonald (13-5) took the circle for the Garnet & Gold, throwing seven innings for the victory.

There are plenty of events in store for the fans this week. Tonight, the first 250 people in attendance will receive a FSU Softball water bottle. On Saturday, 250 mini-inflatable bats will be handed out followed by a team photo card provided by Sun Sports on Sunday. Sunday is also Senior Day and the Florida State Band will be in attendance to perform.
