Florida State Football Finishes Up Spring Practice

April 7, 2000

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The Florida State football team finished up spring practice on Friday with a 12-period practice in shells. The Seminoles spent the majority of practice working on individual drills, before moving on to four plays between tomorrow’s garnet and gold teams. Practiced was shortened due to the Bobby Bowden coaches clinic.

“Basically, we did a demonstration practice today for the coaches,” said defensive coordinator Mickey Andrews. “We did a lot of fundamentals. The last four plays we let the gold offense go against the garnet defense and then let the garnet offense go against the gold defense. There was a lot of talk going on today. We’ll just have to wait until tomorrow to see who eats the beans and weanies.”

INJURY REPORT: NO NEW INJURIES.

The Garnet and Gold game will begin on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
