TALLAHASSEE, Fla. –
The No. 21 ranked Florida State Seminoles (3-2, 2-1 ACC) continued to prepare for Saturday’s Atlantic Coast Conference game on October 20th, against Virginia (3-3, 2-2 ACC) Tuesday afternoon. The team worked out in shells for 22 periods as practice began with special team’s drills before the squad moved on to work against Cavalier scout teams.
“We had a pretty good practice today,” commented FSU head coach Bobby Bowden on his team’s efforts Tuesday afternoon.
The Seminoles will enter the game looking to bounce back from their 49-27 loss to Miami last Saturday and extend their series lead over the Cavs, which currently stands at 8-1. Virginia handed FSU their first ACC loss in 1995 when the Cavaliers won 33-28.
“They’re playing hard,” said Bowden of his next opponent. “They’re playing good, even in their losses.”
The game is scheduled for a 12:00 p.m. kickoff and will be televised on ABC. The Seminoles will return to practice on Wednesday at 3:30 to continue to prepare for this weekend’s game against Miami.
No injuries were reported after today’s practice.
